Roundabout Vukovar

In Vukovar, a roundabout was built at the intersection of Bana J. Jelačića, Trg Slavije and Šamac streets, with a connecting road toward the Danube, a bicycle and pedestrian path, and public lighting.

In Vukovar, a connecting road was built and the intersection of Bana J. Jelačića, Trg Slavije and Šamac streets was reconstructed into a roundabout, along with reconstruction of the pedestrian and bicycle paths and public lighting within the project area. Along the new connecting road, which runs from the transformer station near the intersection toward the Danube, a two-way bicycle path and a pedestrian path with public lighting were built. Due to the terrain configuration, reinforced-concrete retaining walls were built following earthworks in the existing ravine to stabilize the slopes in the loess material. The existing west-east bicycle path on the south side of the Trg Slavije/Bana J. Jelačića street corridor, and the east-west bicycle traffic running on the carriageway, were connected to the newly designed path on the connecting street and to Šamac street, as was pedestrian traffic on these streets. The existing public lighting was reconstructed and new lighting was built along the connecting road. The width of the carriageway lanes at the roundabout approaches was matched to the existing roads and to the design vehicle (an articulated truck on the Trg Slavije - Bana J. Jelačića stretch, and a truck on the other approaches). The splitter islands at the roundabout entries were built with varying geometry depending on their position within the intersection and the pedestrian and bicycle traffic crossing them. The project covers plots no. 7135/3, 7136/1, 7135/5, 3941, 7136/4, 3943/2, 3940, 3938, 3939, 3884, 3834, 3833 and 7068/32, all in the Vukovar cadastral zone. Traffic, pedestrian, bicycle and combined pedestrian/bicycle surfaces were built with an asphalt finish. Stormwater drainage from the traffic surfaces is handled by a closed drainage system, while drainage from the pedestrian, bicycle and combined surfaces is mostly by runoff into the green strip.

Kindergarden Kutjevo

In Kutjevo, a kindergarten with four units for children's stay (nursery and kindergarten age) was built on part of plot no. 1563, Kutjevo cadastral zone, covering about 3490 m², with indoor rooms and outdoor playgrounds.

Depending on the chosen design variant, the kindergarten combines either two nursery units (children aged six to 36 months) and two kindergarten units (children aged three to seven years), or one nursery unit and three kindergarten units. The children's rooms were built at about 62 m² each, with day rooms, cloakrooms and sanitary facilities. Also built were a multi-purpose hall, rooms for teaching, health and other staff, a kitchen with storage and a cloakroom, and circulation areas and sanitary facilities for visitors. The outdoor area was landscaped with green surfaces and playgrounds for both nursery-age and kindergarten-age children.

Business Incubator Kutjevo

In Kutjevo (Požeška ulica 4, plot no. 2219/65, 6801 m²), the Business Incubator and Accelerator building was built, with a street-facing office wing and a courtyard production wing, with total capacity for about 40 employees.

In Kutjevo, at Požeška ulica 4, on building plot no. 2219/65 covering 6801 m², a free-standing Business Incubator and Accelerator building was built. The plot has access from three sides: from the south corridor of Požeška ulica (plot no. 2219/52), and from dead-end street corridors with service access roads along its eastern and western boundaries (plots no. 2219/58 and 2219/55), allowing rational use of the plot and the possibility of a future second phase; to the north the plot borders plots no. 2219/70 and 2219/79. Pedestrian access to the building is from the south corridor of Požeška ulica, while vehicular service and fire-brigade access is from the access road of the western service corridor (plot no. 2219/55). The building is located on the western part of the plot, with its east façade set along the plot's axis drawn from the center of the southern boundary, parallel to the western side boundary, and at the junction of the west and south façades it is set back 5.00 m from the Požeška ulica building line. The building comprises a single-story street wing intended for the Business Incubator's administrative offices and business activities carried out in office spaces, and a ground-floor courtyard wing intended for production activities. The building's capacity is 30 employees in the street wing and 10 employees in the courtyard wing, for a total of 40 employees.
